Finger Food:
Strawberries - whole
Grapes (white and red) - small bunches
Watermelon - cut into wedges
Cantalope - cut into wedges
Honeydew melon - cut into wedges
Pineapple - cut into wedges
For a party, avoid banans as they brown really quickly and get slimey. Also avoid apples, unless they have been sprinkled with lemon juice because they get brown and ugly looking too.

For fruit salads:
Various berries mixed together with a little brown sugar (cut up strawberries, raspberries, black berries, blue berries)

Mixed melon balls (watermelon, cantalope, honeydew)

Mixed fruit - 1 can pineapple chunks, cut up red, green and yellow apples, 1 can mandarine oranges, grapes and one can of tropical fruit cocktail all into one bowl. take the juice from the mandarine oranges, 1 tablesppon lemon juice and some of the pineapple juice along with enough mayonaise (not miracle whip) to make a thin dressing and pour on top of the fruit. one or two bananas can be added at this point and mix it all up.

Strawberries and cherries are in season and at the peak of freshness. Everyone will eat chocolate covered strawberries. Put some good chocolate chips in a ziplock freezer bag (by good chocolate, I mean the stuff without milkfat, like ghiradelli) Warm the chips in the bag in the microwave or a bowl of near boiling water. (heat them until they start to melt, massage the bag, warm a little more, massage the bag until there are no lumps) Snip off the corner of the bag and squeeze chocolate on the strawberries in a criss-cross pattern. Chill to set the chocolate. Most people aren't opposed to watermelon.

Strawberries.

You can make dessert with them. You can make a marshmallow creme (they sell it in a jar at grocery store), mix about half a mix of marshmallow creme and I believe about 1/4 of cream cheese and mix it. What you should do is run the hot water on the spoon so the mix slides off easily when stirring. Im not sure the exact measurement of the creams but you could probably look it up. Maybe at the Kraft website.

Kiwi, bananas covered in strawberry glaze, slices of watermelon, chunks of pinapples, bunches of grapes, or a nice fruit mix with pears and peaches!

Actually I like durian. If you have an asian market near you they probably carry them. They are imported. I first found them in the Philippines, don't know if they are grown in other countries or not.

A warning. They smell terrible! They taste great! It is often said of the durian, they smell like hell and taste like heaven. This might be something out of the ordinary to liven up the party.
