I recently got new house and its all newly done and me and my roommate want to throw a keger but my fiancee is opposed to it. Its only going to be a small group of 10-20 people. Any suggestions

There is no such thing as a "QUIET KEGGER", bsides your future wife has "THE BOX" wich means she makes the rules.

Keep the group of people to a dozen or less. 20 people are inherently loud. That means you get six, and your roommate gets six people to invite. and let your fiancee approve your six people, because it will give her input and let her feel more in control. Also, set a time limit for your party - 2:00 in the morning at the latest. :)

a pony keg is a slution (pony keg is 1/8 of a barrel. the normal keg is 1/4 barrel) but useing a full 1/4 barrel will make it hard to be quite. I say just go buy about 2 or 3 cases.

Only invite people who don't drink. Or don't tap the keg. How about just a bar-b-que, non alcoholic drinks provided by you.

a quiet kegger party......hmmmm, never heard of it. why don't you invite your fiancees girlfriends over instead and be the life of the party. women aren't as loud when they drink and their a lot more fun when there drunk.

I had one and my husband did not want me to. It was fun! All you have to do is watch who you invite. If youre all adults, then you should be fine. You have to throw ONE to see if alls well!!! Celebrate your house!
