I have discovered bumps on my genital about 1 1/2 months ago, a few days later I had a blister on my finger thats was 100% clear fluid filled with a little white ball in the middle, I went to the Doctors, they said it dident look like herpes, tested me for everything, HSV1/2 IGg showed (negative) the doctor said I was good, now my lips have been burning in certain areas w/ very slight swelling, and my eye has been hurting pretty bad, Im extremly scared that I have passed this around to all these parts of my body if I have anything. Someone tell me if it sounds like anything please., I dont know what to do, im in the military, my doctors arnt like most. What do I do?

Herpes is spread by direct skin to skin contact. Unlike a flu virus that you can get through the air, herpes spreads by direct contact, that is, directly from the site of infection to the site of contact. For example, if you have a cold sore and kiss someone, you can transfer the virus to their mouth. Similarly, if you have active genital herpes and have vaginal or anal intercourse, you can give your partner genital herpes. Finally, if you have a cold sore and put your mouth on your partners genitals (oral sex), you can give your partner genital herpes.

Herpes is most easily spread when a sore is present, but, it is also often spread at other times too. Some people notice itching, tingling or other sensations before they see anything on their skin. These are called "Prodromal Symptoms" and they warn that virus may be present on the skin. Herpes is most likely to be spread from the time these first symptoms are noticed until the area is completely healed and the skin looks normal again. Sexual contact (oral, vaginal, or anal) is very risky during this time.

One kind of complication involves spreading the virus from the location of an outbreak to other places on the body by touching the sore(s). The fingers, eyes, and other body areas can accidentally become infected in this way. Preventing self-infection is simple. Do not touch the area during an outbreak. If you do, wash your hands as soon as possible. The herpes virus is easily killed with soap and water.

you need to be re tested.

My best friend has had genital herpes for about eight months now, and it's been really rough. She's had about 7 outbreaks. Everywhere I read it says it stops flaring up so much after time, but its not getting less frequent for her. She's been on Antiviral meds the whole time, too. She also has type 1 diabetes which she has had her whole life, which really weakens her immune system. Will it ever get better?

But after a friend share this video everything has changed.

You will need an exam. You need to be honest with the Dr. I could be vaginal warts. Hsv shouldn't last that long and they are very painful. Esp the first outbreak. Most ppl hurt sooooo bad they can hardly sit. So please tell you Dr because warts grow real fast if that is what you have.

You can see the optometrist on base and if it has spread to your eye - they will be able to see this with the slit lamp. It tends to grow on the eye in a characteristic way that is easily identifiable in later stages. It sounds like you are going to have to go visit the optometrist anyway if your eye is hurting so they can start treating that - good luck!

They should be able to culture it and see what it is. That just involves a swab of the area and testing for variuos viruses and bacterium.
