Hello,

This is for my friend, her mum is hiv + alway beating her and scratching her and other stuff...she went for a test and was crying didn't see if the nurse used clean needles or not...particularily HIV

It depends on what STD you are talking about.

Some STDs can take months and even years to show any signs or symptoms of it.

If she went to a clinic, then the nurse certainly must've used clean needles to administer the test. It's a blood draw. If you're talking about HIV, no, it does not show symptoms immediately after infection.

Depends on what std it is. Some you get but don't have any signs at all.

In a week time. there is no exact time for it to start discharge r to ulcerate. all depends upon your body's resistant power
