There;s been debate about this topic numerous times, the ethics of "cloning" cow or pig muscle simply to harvest for meat, the "animal" would never truly be alive, feel no pain because they didn't grow a nervous system and brain, just the muscle used for food. There would have to be countless tests done to ensure the genetically engineered meat wouldn't cause any bad reactions to it, no birth defects etc etc. But I think one day we'll see it replace farming cows, chickens pigs, sheep etc etc as a means of supplying food for the masses.

It sounds too artificial.
I have no problem slaughtering animals to harvest their meat. It is Natural, healthy and it's what the Creator, whoever that may be to you, intended.

But, your body needs some animal fats.
Some people take it to extremes, but nonetheless, it is valuble for a balanced diet.

I'm guessing it would be produced from grains and veggies. Probably similar to tofu....I would try it.

If it's something artificial than how can it be healthy for you? I'll stick to my vegetables instead.
