1/3 has herpes, it just seems way too high to be true. I don't beieve that someone in my family (5 people) according to studies is likely to haan std. I think its overblown or if it isn't most people have no idea that they have herpes or other stds.

I think you have been really misinformed about STDS.

Prostitutes and s*uts...give me a break.

A lot of STDS have no signs or symptoms so they are really easily transmitted. HPV for example, can take months and even years to show any signs or symptoms of the virus. There is no test for men, so it is impossible for them to know they have it, unless they have genital warts. This can take months and even years though, so they can be passing it around unknowingly to women, and then these women can pass it around unknowingly to other men.

Also, the 1 in 4 people have an STD is an average. If you took 400 people, on average, about 100 of them would have an STD. That doesn't mean if you took a family of 5 (like in your case) at least one would have it. There are tons of families out there and none of them have an STD. That is an average, you can't base that on your family alone.

And just because someone has an STD doesn't make them dirty or a prostitute! I got genital herpes and HPV from the 2nd guy I had ever slept with in my life! And the guy before that I was with for 4 years! It's not that I was sleeping around, men cheat (so do women though). People are not faithful and some don't care if they pass a deadly or life threatening STD to others.

Please educate yourself more about STDS and don't be so judgmental about it.

I got diagnosed with herpes simplex virus (type 2) about 7 years ago, while I was still attending college and had a foolish one-night stand. I realize a lot of young ladies will say this, but I swear I had certainly not done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date men again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/0NstB everything improved.

Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the hsv from my system in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so fortunate to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a crowded cafe, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This system provided the opportunity to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the whole World.

The statistics are 1 out of 4 people will contract some type of STD in todays times. Pretty sad that people don't protect themselves.

A lot of people have STDS. Most people in their 20s will have at least one STD in their lifetime. A lot of the STDs are symptom free for the most part, so I'm sure most people don't even know they have one.

You'd kill yourself? I dont think you would. People make mistakes in there lives and for a young ignorant person like you to say, I'd kill myself, and those people are disgusting is funny. Try getting out of your house, talking to mature people and growing up..

You cannot tell by looking at someone whether or not they have an STD.

The MAJORITY of people have STDs and you MUST protect yourself. HPV and Chlamydia are rampant.
