ADULT PARTY IDEAS

Here's a fun party theme for adults: "NAUGHTY OR NICE", or it could become a birthday party theme "GOOD TO BE BAD!". When guests walk in, they get to choose to put on devil horns or an angel's halo. The fun begins... the naughty group sips a steamy red drink from martini glasses (use dry ice to create the steam) while the nice group sips a frothy white pina colada or champagne.

The theme can carry through the food: hot & spicy gumbo or fluffy white mashed potatoes. Even dessert can be playful with a naughty or nice sundae bar (lot's of whipped cream for the angels, and red hots for the devils!) When everyone hits the dance floor, red glow necklaces are hot for the "naughties," fluffy white boas are perfect for the "nice" girls and white fiberoptic flashlights are great for those "good guys".

Decorations can be alternating centerpiece of white or red roses, or, if flowers aren't your style, red floating candles in red liquid (use food dye) create a devilish glow, while white floating candles look absolutely heavenly with clear glass gems at the bottom!

LUAU DARE PARTY - This party is geared more towards adults. First, the party would be well decorated for the occasion with all the regular Luau accents. Then the invitations would be sent out to all invited guests with details of a catered and open bar event. The invitation would also include a hint of a game that would be played by guests with lush prizes to be distributed. When the guests arrive, they would each be greeted by the hosts and given a small bag of 25 shells to keep in their possession until the details of the game were announced later. After a determination that most of the guests had arrived, the host would then announce the details of the game as follows. Shell Dare Game:

1. Each person can dare another person to reveal something about themselves or complete a requested task. The dare would be accompanied by an amount of shells given to the dared guest after he or she has completed the desired task.

2. The dared guest has the ability to accept and complete the dare or refuse the dare with no penalties.

3. The dare can be of any nature(example...."I dare you to dressup in a grass skirt and coconuts for 10 shells")

4. Each guest participating in the game should always consider his/her partner prior to making or taking a dare.

5. The guest with the most shells (usually the craziest and most daring person) wins first prize and so on. As a word of caution, this game can get pretty wild so it's not for the conservative crowd and KEEP A CAMERA READY!!!!! It would also help if you recruit a family member in helping locate the shells and pay for some of the prizes.

SUPER SCAVANGER HUNT - Every year I put together a Scavenger Hunt for the ladies on my float, and every year each team finds all the items, no matter how many i put, and we are left with a tie. Well this year I decided to take it one step further, and I must admit..it worked!!

I made the list about a month ahead of time that way I wouldn't remember everything on it...I made one copy the master copy and put all the points on that one. This year I separated the list into 3 different categories: items, projects, and trivia.

When everyone arrived we pulled names to see who was on each team (you put how many you want on each, we did 4 per team), then I handed each team an envelope and we were off!! The items category had 55 items to find, the projects category had 10 different things to do, and the trivia had 10 different questions to answer, but all had to be done in the time limit--the rule for the time limit was any team not in on time would have 10 points deducted for every 10 minutes past time limit. Some of the 55 items to find were: a toothbrush, a menu, page out of the phone book with a person on the teams name and number, 1972 penny, 1984 nickel, 1995 dime, 2003 quarter, empty wine bottle, peice of rubber from a tire, flyer from upcoming event, and my old favorite--ROADKILL!!

Some of the projects were: get the signature of 25 people you met on the hunt, get 6 different empty beer cans in a six pack holder, make a flower wreath out of real flowers, go to the graveyard and get a crayon rubbing of the first name of each person on your team, get a crayon rubbing of 5 different surfaces. Some of the trivia questions i had were list 25 states, list 10 different schools in our town, list 10 different bar rooms in town, list all the mardi gras krewes in houma, and list 20 cities in louisiana. Both teams made it on time, we spread out all the stuff and counted up the points, and we actally had a winner this year!

WILL YA DO IT FOR A DOLLAR? - ADULT PARTY - Will Ya Do It For A Dollar? Party (Adult) We sent out invitations with this warning: You are invited ...To our Will Ya Do It Fer A Dollar? Party Bring $10 for the winners pot, an ATTITUDE, and your fearless WICKED alter ego. Deranged Guests Welcomed with open arms. This is an exceptionally good medium (20-50) sized houseparty. . The key to success with this event is inviting the right crowd they have to be a fun & fairly uninhibited group. This is NOT a good party for your coworkers! Its also definitely not a family-friendly party.. When guests arrive, at the door, each guest gets $25 of "play" money (we pasted over Washingtons picture with our party icon - a mischievous looking gremlin, which was also on the invite - and made copies on brightly colored paper), and puts $10 of real money in the hat. These rules are posted when you come in:

1. Everyone gets $25 at the door (and puts 10 REAL$ in the Pot)

2. Do stuff for people to get their $

3. Be Wild. Be Creative. Anything someone will pay for is Fair Game. Name your price.

4. Whoever has the most $ by Midnight Wins (The Winner gets The Pot; Runner Up gets Two gold tickets to the ) For drinks, this is a cocktail party. We put out a full liquor selection, and every mixer/topper we could think of.

We had a book of cocktail recipes, so people could earn money by mixing/getting drinks (next time we host this event, well do neo-Martinis, the new martinis are a lot of fun & very popular). Its always important to also provide soda & bottled water for the designated drivers.

We also provided a karaoke set-up in one room. We made big posters with these suggestions, which we hung several places around the house: What Can I Do For A Dollar?

Refresh my drink, darling Tell everyone at the party how wonderful I am Insult the host Rub my back, baby Admit to your spouse that youve finally decided to come OUT of the closet Sing so we can ALL hear it, dear Go in the kitchen and make me a snack, sweetheart Probe Me (mix me a Vulcan Mind Probe, that is) Get a sexy book from the library. Read a passage out loud. Make a prank phone call Dance, fool Kiss my bare *** (this just might be more than a buck) Give everyone a big hug, you party animal Do a shot. Or a ******* (thats a drink, you animal) Go upstairs. Come down dressed in drag Share with us all your Most Embarrassing Moment. Ever. At midnight, those competitive & uninhibited souls who've collected substantial stashes have their $ counted, and prizes are awarded. This party was absolutely amazing. We throw very many parties - this is one of my favorites.

Some of the stuff people did .. give short ballroom dancing lessons, foot & back massages, reading erotic poetry, flashing .. a couple of times, a small group gathered and everybody would chip a "buck" or two into a pot, and then tell their most embarrassing story, or wildest sexual experience, or the most exciting adventure they had, and the best story would get the pot.

Make her get photographed in different situations (use a polaroid or a digital camera). For example, a picture of her riding horseback on a guy at a bar. Make her do a bl0wjob shot (you know the Kahlua shot with the whipped cream around the rim of the shotglass and she has to do it without using her hands). Get a pair of guy's underwear. I can't think of anything else right now.

ive had so many surprise parties if i don't have one im SURPRISED! lol but really i think their great, yeah you can get pretty down when everyone is "busy" but when they all surprise you, its shows you how much they care and the effort it took for them to hide it from you and plan everything just for your own enjoyment! you have to have pretty great friends if you get a party that u didn't know about! don't wish em' away, hope for more! ;D
