Yes, but it's not because of the blood.

The herpes virus is not in a persons blood (like HIV/AIDS). Herpes is ONLY spread by skin to skin contact and sex. There are other ways too, like childbirth, but these aren't as common. Herpes CAN NOT be spread by blood.

If it were able to be spread by blood than the American Red Cross would not allow people with herpes to donate blood, like they do with HIV/AIDS people.

So to answer your question, yes you can get herpes from someone who has it, even if they are showing no signs of an outbreak. It's not the blood though, it's the skin to skin contact and sex that can caused you to get the virus.

According to Valtrex, 70% of people with genital herpes got it from their partners when they were showing no signs or symptoms of the virus (like sores). That's how I got it!

People can go years and years without an outbreak, but just because they haven't had an outbreak in a long time doesn't mean they don't have the virus. There is currently no cure for herpes, so once you have it, you will always have it!

Hope that answered your question!

Symptoms of herpes usually develop within 2 to 20 days after contact with the virus, although it could take longer. These symptoms may last up to several weeks, varying from one person to the next. In many people, the first infection is so mild that it goes unnoticed. In others, the first attack causes visible sores. Even so, subsequent recurrences of the disease may cause lesions. When the sores are completely healed, the active phase of infection is over. Healing of the skin usually leaves no scars. In either case, the virus retreats into the nervous system and lies dormant

I got identified with genital herpes (type 2) about 7 yrs ago, when I was still in college and had a silly one-night stand. I understand loads of girls will say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date men again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone who has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/0NDtP everything changed.

Not only was I able to eliminate all remnants of the herpes virus from my system in less than 21 days, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so fortunate to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a busy cafe, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This program gave me back the chance to be happy and experience true love. Now I want to help you too by sharing this with the whole World.

"He can have herpes and failed to know about it seeing that this version of herpes would not exhibit any signs." LOL! Surely no longer actual. At the same time some folks could also be asymptomatic, the truth that he KNEW he had genital herpes means: 1) he both verified constructive for genital herpes earlier than, OR 2) he has had a plague of genital herpes sometime prior to now and it established positive for HSV-2. In any other case, how would he recognize he even had genital herpes in the first location? Delicate liar! Now, IF he had HSV-1 (oral herpes/bloodless sores) on his genitals that was once shrunk throughout oral sex with a different person, then sure, she can contract it due to the fact that HSV-1 prefers the mouth. IF she already has HSV-1, then she are not able to grow to be infected again on account that she already has antibodies for it. If she does no longer have HSV-1, then she will be able to contract it performing oral sex on him. IF he surely has the opposite virus strand (HSV-2 genital herpes), then she will be able to contract it, however it is rare for it to be transmitted to the mouth--it prefers the genitals. .

Absolutely!!!!
That how a lot of herpes cases are transmitted. Usually a person will not know he/she has herpes because it is not visible and will pass it on to someone else.
