France has very limited links with Mexico and with Latin America in general; also, France has a very high opinion (sometimes rightly, sometimes not so) of its own cuisine, which has resulted in their having far less international cuisine than countries such as Britain and the US. The good news is that you should be able to find a great deal of good food - only you may have to wait for your next fajitas. Bon Appetit.

Do you have any Mexicans in France?? If not, than there you go. I don;t think French citizens go out of thier way to cook the slop served at Mexican Restaurants. I thought the French were way to civiliized for that.

As a mexican who has spent a lot of time in france I can give you a sim ple anwser. YOU JUST CAN'T FIND THE INGREDIENTS, well of course there are some of them, but they are of poor quality and lack flavour, and the "MEXICAN" food they do sell is actually tinned tex-mex food, which is not mexican.

Try LaCatina Tex-Mex in Rottweil, Deutschland. The husband is Mex and they try hard. Tortillas are the basic problem.

Europe won't accept America's genetically-altered corn and there's a big problem with the words. Korn is all grain, not just corn. Mais Mehl never gets translated into Corn Flour. You'll always get the corn meal, not the flour.
