I want the best for my child - a happy healthy successful life. There are so many obstacles for homosexuals and also for interracial relationships - and I would not wish those problems on my child. However, I would be very supportive of whatever direction my child takes. That's what being a mom is all about.

Of course not, but, I feel homosexuality is something you're born with, rather than a choice you make, although, some times that may be true.
But, you hear people say that as teenagers life was a living hell(more so than normal)why would you chose that for yourself?
If my son(he's only12 now)is gay, I would accept him, unconditionally

i don't think it would be any parents joy to find out their son or daughter is gay, especially as we know that society seems to still frown or are afraid of issues they don't fully understand.
As long as let the child knows that he /she is accepted by family members, it might just make it easier when they do have to face society. If they feel you don't, they may think that noone will, and that is not the case, and it makes it getting through life that much harder.
SUPPORT SUPPORT SUPPORT. IF THAT IS WHAT IS GOING TO MAKE THEM HAPPY IT IS NOT FOR ANYONE TO TELL THEM DIFFERENT.

What do you mean by wanting your kid to be gay? That's like asking if you want them to be happy and true to themselves, or not. Boo.
However, if you're asking how I would feel about that being their sexuality, then it's pretty much what I said above. I'd be glad that he/she had the courage and trust in me to come out and tell me about their sexuality. That shows they're aware I would love them no matter what. So to answer the question, nope. It wouldn't matter.

I wouldn't mind either way they would receive support and love from me , i wouldn't want it because i would be fear full of people singleing out my child because of it and hurting him (i say him because people tend to accept gay woman more than gay men ) Its a damn hard life i wouldn't want for them , yet i would support wholeheartedly .

not necessarily because there are idiots out there that wouldn't treat them properly...but I would want my child to be true to themselves and be happy. So, whatever makes them happy, I support.
