Mass on the heart?

My wife had many tests over the past two days. Today she was told she had a "Mass" on her heart. Can someone explaine what that means?

Not with out the studies that the doctors have. A mass could be an old blood clot between the heart and the pericadium, it could be a tumor, it could be a fatty build up, or anything.

You really need to have the studies to determine what it is.

She has abnormal growth of tissue on her heart. Better talk to the doctor. It sound serious.
