Vegans (pronounced VEE-guns) are people who wish to alleviate the suffering of animals by not consuming or purchasing products which contribute to that suffering.

My friend and I always disagree on this question. I think it's vee-gun and he says it's veg-un (like vegatarian and vegetable). I usually hear it pronounced vee-gun.

like this---"I don't eat meat, eggs, or cheese, but I love my leather belt, shoes and whips!"
Read the bible--God gave us the animals to eat in Genesis, right after Noah got off the ark.
