Trisha, what part of New York City your thinking about living in? New York is beautiful. Its crowded but you have people from all walk of life walking around. Trisha, you know how the leaves changes colors in the fall that is New York all year around, when you walk down the street. New York can be expensive when it comes to renting but its worth it.

I live in NY! The weather here is tempermental, depending on the season. It really depends on where in NY you're moving.....Queens is great, very subarban and quiet. Manhattan is crowded, busy, and noisy. Brooklyn and the Bronx are okay places to live, but they have a lot of crime. I don't know too much about Staten Island. If you're moving to Long Island, it's very subarban.
