Well, I live in the middle of the US, and think that you should visit my home! I will fix you homemade White Pizza, or Lasagna, or a homemade Apple Pie, or perhaps some grilled salmon and pineapple, or possibly some homemade (family recipe) Butterbrickle Ice Cream (my favorite), or I might fix you some homemade cinnamon rolls. Gosh, I would love to fix you anything that you might want to try!! :) Of course, if we were just going to go to a restaurant, I would take you to a local place called, Woody's Woodfire Pizza. It is a wonderfully small, but very quaint, local pizzeria. I've tried many different kinds of pizza there, and they are ALL amazingly good!!! I love the atmosphere of the place as well, and always have a good time when going there! :)

USA- I'd recommend a fresh grilled Cheeseburger on a Kaiser roll with all the fixings, lettuce, tomato, onions, and a spiced mayo add some of my grandmas famous potato salad and a slice of Apple pie. Yummy, oh don't forget the chocolate milkshake :D

It's no wonder we're the big fat supernation, hehe.

If you come to Eastern Ontario Canada, for instance Ottawa the capital, try a Beavertail it's deep fried dough like a donut, flattened to be shaped like a Beaver's tail and dusted with brown sugar or any other topping like strawberries, maple syrup what ever you like. I guess you can also try Poutine a French Canadian dish of french fries, cheese curds all smothered with gravy a real heart buster,

Goodness.. Let's see..

I would have to start with some of my favorite appetizers, a spinach and cream cheese dip with some tortilla chips, or some fried mozzarella sticks with marina sauce.. Oh or a portabella mushroom sautéed in balsamic vinegar and grilled..And my all time fav potato skins covered with cheese, bacon, and sour cream and fresh chives.

Then Hmm...I would have to say for entrees you would have to try any kind of really good bar-b-q, ((I know a great place not far from my home.. it's a restaurant inside of a cave, it is an awesome fun place to visit, and a great place to have a Halloween Party at!))

Chicken and dumplings, Cashew Chicken, fried Okra, Oh there are just too many choices!!

If we were going to the fair I would have to say, get some fried green tomatoes, a caramel apple covered in nuts, and a funnel cake covered in powdered sugar.

Then I would say you would have to try bubblegum icecream, because it's just fun to eat. .. Or hot pecan pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on it.. And a turtle cheesecake, or a Mississippi mud pie.

I'm from the The Philippine Islands. But I moved here in the USA. IF you go to the Philippines try eating Lumpia Sariwa. In our native language it says "fresh spring rolls". It''s not fried, but the filling inside is made of chicken, carrots and cabbage is sauteed on shrimp stock and salt. It's wrapped with usual spring roll wrappers or smetimes a mix of pancake mix fried into thin pieces for wrapping. PEople usually put a sauce over it made out of crushed peanuts with arnival(brown sugar boiled in water until soupy nad sweet). For drinks, order "sago gulaman" it made out of grass tea jelly, tapioca beads, and arnival(brown sugar with water boiled until sweet and kinda soupy).

The dish and drinks can be found in on restaurant called "Max's Chicken" they mostly sell fried whole chicken. Max's chicken restaurant is the best for dates and celebratrions. It has a classy look inside and the waiters and waitresses wear traditional filipino clothes.

They also sell good side dishes such as "kamote fries". That's right, fries. But this kind of fries are different, it's actually sweet potatoes sliced into strips then fried.

If you're coming to the Mid West of the USA....you must try Iowa corn fed beef, or pork, fresh tomatoes from the vine, peaches and cream corn on the cob, new potatoes that have been tossed in real butter and chives or potato salad, and strawberry shortcake with whipped cream....or better yet....cold watermelon!

The things you should try are:
Scottish rasperries or starberries and a whiskey flavoured cream
Haggis Neeps and tatties
Deep fried mars bars
Shortbread
If you visited Edinburgh then you would want to go to the fish and chip shop (the chippie) and get some chips with chippie sauce on them - yum!
