To me, the most heavenly of berries is the huckleberry. It's succulent, tasty and healthy. It's also indigenous to the woods of the Northwest, where I live, although it's also more and more rare. MMMMMMMM, huckleberry pie, huckleberry jam....or just plain ol' huckleberries. Like so many naturally occuring plants, we all need to do more to protect the habitats that sustain them.

I LOVE BLACKBERRY'S! my favorite jam though is boysenberry, but i haven't had the pleasure to try them fresh yet :( but i love blueberry's because of the antioxidants, raspberry's are delish, and i could NEVER say no to strawberry's!

blackberries; love pies made from them and they are great in cereal. As a kid I used to make quite a bit of spending money picking them and selling them by the quart.
