The decision on eating meat is yours alone. If you have problems eating it then try a vegetarian diet for a while and see how you go on. If you miss eating meat then add it back to your diet. There's nothing to say that you can't be selective in the meat that you eat. If you don't like the thought of eating mince because of where it comes from then don't eat it. If you like bacon then carry on eating it. Try not to categorise yourself as a vegetarian or an omnivore. If you have no moral qualms about eating meat then there is no problem.

In my mind, if you eat meat, you're not a vegetarian.

Although then there's those odd folks who call themselves freegans, meaning if that the food is going to go to waste, and it's not vegan, they'll eat it. Which I guess I can understand, but they're not really vegan/vegetarian, regardless of the source. Although it's commendable.

I don't really understand your mentality, you sound confused. You feel guilt when you eat something with bones, but not when it's bacon? I don't really get that. Bacon came from a pig just like a pork chop does. I think you should sit and reflect about why you don't like eating meat with bones, and the invisible nature of the meat industry (in my mind) is what keeps it going.

However, what you eat is obviously your choice, so if you don't have issues with meat, then just pick and choose what you do and don't want to eat. My only suggestion, being that "factory" meat is undeniably an enviornmentally unfriendly practice, is to buy free range, organic meat. It's healthier for you, the enviornment, and the creature you eat in the long run.

If you still eat any type of animal flesh, then no, you are not a vegetarian. It doesn't matter how much you don't like eating any type of meat, or how many times you say that you'll stop eating any type of meat.
You are a vegetarian when you officially stop eating any type of animal (yes that includes fish/seafood), and your body has adjusted fully to not intaking meat of any kind. Remember, vegetarian is NOT to be confused with vegan. Vegan's don't partake in the consumption and use of animal products and by-product, period.

I dont think you can be unsure if you are vegetarian or not. It is something you have to make a consious decision to be for reasons of health or conscience.

If you dont have a problem eating bacon then you are probably not yet appalled by the slaughter of animals to stop eating meat.

Seems like you're just fooling yourself. That you just don't have the courage of your convictions. If you hate the thought of eating animals, then stop! Or if not, then keep eating meat.

If you eat meat then you are not vegetarian.

Be careful what you eat.
Most animals are treated bad.
Chickens ALL get treated badly. Think about where they live. -in a tiny cage.
Pigs can eat humans and spread disease. That's why other animals cannot eat it.

well... when you look at bones, you felt the pain of the animal(getting slaughtered). But when you ate bacon, you thought as if it is not meat and you ate it,and plus...it has no bones in it.

(I know hard to explain....Im not really a good writer.)
