Does herpes happen on the SKIN around the vagina (labia majora) or actually on the vaginaitself? This is a question b/c i recently went for a check up and my doctor took a sample of whatever they do for a pap smear, and 5 minutes later said I had NO dieseases present, when he looked in the microscope. And my (gyno) said that I was fine. But I am showing all these symptoms such as irritation, bumps *not present on the vagina, but the surrounding skin", and reoccuring infections. I also get sores around my mouth as well. The thing is I havent had any sexual contact, and I have two doctors I visit and they have both taken blood samples and examined them, only to find that I dont have herpes, aids, gon, or cly!??? They both told me to STOP SHAVING the area, b/c they appear to be razor bumps. Well, it's frustrating, so I havent been back to the doctor in a couple of months, and I havent shaved/bikini wax like they told me, but IT"s BACK. Now what the hell else could it be?

Okay well first off, doctors can test you but any doctor will also tell you that it is easier to find out if you have something if there is actual visual symptoms. You blood test can come back normal but that doesn't always mean that. Your best bet is to go to the doctor when you get a sore. Because if you have something for them to look at they can actual break one open and swab what is inside and then they can test that, and you are more likely to get an accurate result. Your best bet at this point since you see shaving isn't making it go away, continue to shave. Because if you continue to shave it will be easier for it to be seen and then once you see something set up a doctors appointment asap. And yes they can be on the lips of the vagina, they can actual spread to your bottom and your upper thighs if it is genital herpes. As for you mouth, chances are that is what it is, cold sores are a form of herpes, but as far as that form of herpes, a lot of adults have that form of herpes and just never show symptoms and some adults do show symptoms. But go see a doctor when you are having symptoms, because then they can get a more accurate test result, from the actual sore. Good Luck!

I got clinically diagnosed with genital herpes (type 2) about 6 years back, while I was still attending college and had a dumb one-night stand. I realize a lot of girls will say this, but I swear I had certainly not done that sort of thing before. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/0Kr3Q everything changed.
Not only was I able to eradicate all remnants of the herpes simplex virus from my body in less than three weeks, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just a week ago, in front of everybody in a packed cafe, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This program gave me back the chance to be happy and experience true love. Now I want to help you too by sharing this with the whole World.

My best friend has had genital herpes for about eight months now, and it's been really rough. She's had about 7 outbreaks. Everywhere I read it says it stops flaring up so much after time, but its not getting less frequent for her. She's been on Antiviral meds the whole time, too. She also has type 1 diabetes which she has had her whole life, which really weakens her immune system. Will it ever get better?
But after a friend share this video everything has changed.

When doctor's do an exam for Herpes, they only look at the ouside for "visual" sores. Since hereps is a Viral infection, you CAN get a blood test to test for herpes. That's the only way you'll know for sure. And you can get herpes on your mouth it's called herpes simples one and not get them in the private areas which is herpes simplex two. So you could have "cold sores" on your mouth, but razor bumps on your vagina.

It could be thrush. However you should just stay away from everyone and just heal. Having contact with others could just make things worse. This condition could even be caused by stress as many strange and annoying ailments do. Take a break away from things and try to distinguish if it is stress related or STD related. Diet could play a serious part because highly acidic fruits like mangoes, oranges, etc can cause mouth sores. If you have had all the major tests then you should be OK. I bet it is your diet but I could be wrong. Check it out.

Herpes can occur around, on, and even inside your vagina.
You can test negative and still have herpes. Go have another test.
It is possible that it is something else. Have you been tested for HPV? It is the most common, probably the most dangerous viral STD in the US today.
Take a cycle of antibiotics to clear up any bacterial infections.
Take an antiviral to clear up any viral infections.
One medicine will not work on both.
And for God's sake, practice safe sex from now on!

Standard std tests DO NOT test for herpes or for hpv. You have to request these tests specifically. Too many people in the US are lead to believe by undereducated doctors that they have a clean bill of sexual health when they haven't even been tested for everything. Even if you request a test for "everything", mention herpes and hpv specifically, otherwise the doctor will assume and you will not be tested for those.
The Western Blot test is the only reliable test for herpes. Request this test specifically.

No one should say you have herpes who has not examined you. You may simply have a folliculitis or infection of hair follicles chronic from past shaving. The cold sore are probably herpes simplex and not related to genital herpes.
