Some vegetarians compel their pets to eat all-vegetarian foods. This is cruel and unnatural. You can't force a natural meat-eater to enjoy veggies. Anyway, conventional dog and cat food is made from the scraps that remain from slaughtering. It shows respect for the dead animal to utilize every possible scrap of the carcase rather than wasting it.

Regular meat dog and cat food. I chose to be a vegetarian, but my dog made another choice... besides, dogs and cats were meant to be carnivores. My cat is toying with vegetarianism (Seriously, she loves vegan "cheese", soy meat, and raspberry bagels, but turns her nose up at salmon, beef and liver) but still eats regular cat food.

I do not have a moral problem with meat, I chose it for health. My animals do better with a meat diet, so I give them one. I do better with a vegetarian diet, so I eat that.

Yes - they have two options.

1. Get the animal food prepared specially for them
2. Share what you eat with them - over here our dogs eat rice and curry without any probelm.

And it's the owner who becomes a vegitarian - not the Dog or the Cat.
