u can have carpel tunnel syndrom.ot means that some how the nerve (median nerve) is pressed under the muscles.
Tendonitis can also be a cause.

Hold that hand area warm and eat ibuprofen (non streoidal antiinflammatory drug) three time a day for4 days atleast and look if it causes any progress. if not go to the physician.

Gout or artheritis can be the other causes but those are more common in adults, after the 50s.

Im an EMT If you are not having any trouble breathing or chest pain then I dont think you are having a heart attack. I would talk to your doctor soon just to be sure and if syptoms get worst or you get any of the one I asked about them call an ambulance

Strain. Sprain. Fracture. Carpal tunnel. You hit it with a hammer. You fell and landed on it. Remove the knife, it'll feel better almost immediately. You slammed it in a door.

Possibly tendonosis, but I recommend that you see a physician to find out exactly what is going on.

it's hard to say what it might be. You need to see a Dr. about it. It could be a broken bone or carple-tunnel syndrome.

do you do repetitive work? Carpal tunnel syndrome is a possibility or tendonitis or synovitis.

you could be getting a heart attacke, thats what my grandpa says when he's having one! trust me he should know he has had 14 heart attacks
