cooked or not animal carcass is the best ever. vegetarians tend to be stupid and uninteresting people anyways who use the label for a fashion statement or way to cover up their anorexia. not all vegetarians are bad dont get me wrong, probably 2-4% are OK people, but the rest are just behind repair, get with the program eat an animal, just dont drink milk, that's cruel. 8)

Some people cannot afford meat, so they have to resort to vegetarian diet, eg. India.
Some do it for religious beliefs as they view eating meat as bringing suffering to a living animal.
Some do it for health reasons. It is shown scientifically that veggetarians live longer and healthier lives.

I recently became a vegetarian (a little over a week) because I watched some PETA videos on http://www.petatv.com. I've done it before and my vegetarianism lasted about 4 1/2 months.
I saw a guy slice the throat of a cow and pull out his esophagus and then let him walk around with his throat open and esophagus hanging out, waiting for it to die. The video was saying that the workers were ignoring the Jewish commitment to compassion. Another video I saw was of a worker taking baby pigs and holding them by their hind legs and slamming them head first into the concrete ground over and over again. When I ate pork after watching those videos, I threw up because those images ran through my mind.
I'm also hoping this vegetarian way of life will help me to lose weight but if it doesn't, no biggie. Either way, I don't feel guilty anymore.

i understand about the squishing a bug thing, honestly...karate kid-"It is not stupid to respect all living things" I take a bug outside rather than kill it whenever possible......anyway...if I ever refrain from eating meat it's because I feel I'm not getting enough veggies...I think people eat WAY too much meat than is healthy, you don't really need much meat to get the protein required. Part of me thinks it's dumb to eat other animals when we're able to get the same nutrition from plants...it's like we're lazy...Besides that point...it's just plain cruel the way we harvest and keep our livestock a lot of times...I wouldn't want to promote that..poor chickens and hogs...but I understand about how we SHOULD be eating meat because we ARE OMNIVOROUS..not herbivorous...but at the same time we are resourceful and smart beings that could find the nutrition else where if we weren't so lazy...

authentic vegetarians do no longer eat fish both... you're questioning about pescatarians... human beings get perplexed and picture vegetarians eat fish. we do not eat ANY type of meat. Ive been a vegetarian a touch over a 12 months...I ate meat for 32 years.. yet i wasnt a large meat eater.. fantastically as i have been given older. Yeah i presumed it tasted solid too extra or a lot less...notwithstanding it became a supply or take problem quite.. even as i wanting to grow to be vegetarian..i presumed it should be difficult...yet its no longer quite...the in basic terms difficulty difficult is by using the position I stay and the options are slender. yet I make due...and having some cookbooks facilitates out too. in the start I sorta ignored meat.. like for the first few months...yet I dont now. and that i even cook dinner it nevertheless ( have too... ) yet I surely haven't any favor to eat it. in case you quite needed to attempt..its no longer as difficult as you imagine that's. plus... I dont ought to spend as a lot money as I did when I ate meat. i will get extra nutrients...for far less money. i love having extra money for different issues... extra money is continuously constructive.

I became a vegetrian at age 5 because I didn't like seafood and this way my parents wouldn't make me eat it. I have been a vegetarian ever since. Occasionally I will crave fried chicken or bacon but I've eaten it. People sometimes get aggravated cause I'm a vegetarian and they have to make something without meat, so people not liking the idea of not eating meat is not new to me.

I don't know why I'm bothering to answer this, but I'll just say that I've been a vegetarian for many years now, and that going veg is the best decision I've ever made. Since becoming vegetarian, I've been much healthier and I've had a clearer conscience. You ought to try it.

that is a very offensive remark, there are always different people in this world, and some people dont eat meat, because they are either allergic to it, or they dont like what has happend to the animals,
It would be such a sad world , if everyone was just like yourself, and putting vegetarians.
And by the way , I am not a vegetarian , but I know some.

Sounds like you aren't asking a question and are just ranting your uneducated opinions. Get a booklet from www.veganoutreach.org They will send you one for free. If you are capable of reading more than a little booklet, The Food Revolution by John Robbins would be a good thing to pick up. Go on, I double dog dare ya! At least you would know compassion from fashion.

Well I'm not a vegetarian but sometimes other sources of proteins are very good. I get tired of meat a lot and like to try chickpeas, beans, tofu, ,tempeh. So I eat the 'vegetarian' stuff too. Its pretty good.
