STDs spread by CONTACT (skin-to-skin):

HPV/Genital Warts, Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV), Molluscum Contagiosum, Chancroid, Syphilis, Crabs/Pubic Lice, Scabies

Its possible, if your partner had infected fluid on his or her hand, that an STD could be transmitted to your genitals when your partner masturbated you. However, STDs are not likely to be transmitted through mutual masturbation, especially HIV. It is much more unlikely that STDs spread through skin-to-skin contact would be transmitted this way.

No, usually you only get an STD in a mucous membrane or if you have an open cut or sore. Blisters on your *other* hand are probably something different. Go see your doc and make sure, but I don't think you have to worry unless your skin was damaged there.

I don't think it is something very common but I would definitely make sure you both don't have open sores that could possibly come into contact with each other

No, not normally. However if you have an open wound on your hand, (even a scratch) you could be at risk if you contact semen. Also wash your hands thouroughly before touching mouth, eyes, or any body opening.

it's entirely possible...most likely with herpes...even if they don't have an outbreak, they can be shedding cells, and if you touch yourself in the process or "down there" afterward, it can spread...i know that it's possible to spread cold sores if you touch your mouth and then touch a secondary object or touch someone else...so why wouldn't it be the same for the genital area...

not sure about the other "stds"...

yes you can get std's from giving hand jobs. i have a friend who loved giving hand jobs to every sailor who got off the boat and now she has aids. you should try anal, that is safe most of the time as long as you have a big butt hole.

Yes, if you have an open cut, or after you accidentally put that hand(s) to your eyes, nose, mouth etc. It's called transference of infection via an open orifice, saliva, mucus, blood.
