Why do U.S. Latinos eat so late at night, and where do they eat?

I want to know what the late night eating habits are of U.S. Latinos. I see them at taco trucks late at night

My Husband is Latino. Sometimes they work real late and they eat when they get off of work. Or, after they come out of the bar.

I am latin and do not agree with this practice of eating late, which I think is a recipe for weight gain !! I believe that the last meal of the day should be light. I don't know how they can sleep on a full stomach. I think many latinos in the us could benefit from nutritional education, because diabetes, heart disease is on the rise, as well Obesity among all groups, not just latinos.

I am a U.S. Latina and I don't eat after 6 pm. I dine at home and and fine restaurants too. I don't eat from those trucks because most are not regulated by their local health departments. My guess is that those "U.S. Latinos" are working late and the food served from those trucks are the closest thing to having food from their homeland. Most serve Jalisco style tacos which are big in Mexico.

it's called working the graveyard shift and lunch is usally around 1:00 am to 3:00 am.

Toco trucks are good and cheep. I eat that stuff all the time. Maybe we eat there because of those reasons and the fact its still open.

Many people eat late at nite........Not prevalent of any given type.
Has more to do with one's schedule, rather than ethnicity.
