I think it all depends on the chemisrty between the 2 people. If you 2 are very attracted to each other there is nothing wrong with a goodnight kiss on the first date. But if you are shy or it takes getting to know the person better to be atrracted to them then it's ok to wait until the 2nd, 3rd or whenever you're ready.

I don't kiss my man...or any man (for that matter) - I would say that if I DID kiss a man, it would depend on the situation. Long-time friend and beginning to date, or relatively new acquaintance?

If a new acquaintance, how do you even know he's more or less yours until at least the 3rd date?

If you like him you kiss him at the end of the first date. If you aren't sure you kiss during the second date. If by the end of the second date you haven't felt like kissing him, kiss him off and find someone else.

I don't date men, but I think a kiss on a first date is quite acceptable (assuming the date went well).

I think you kiss him on the cheek the first date and then kiss him on the lips on the second.

Not usually first. It really depends on how comfortable you are with that person. If you're nervous or still feeling shyo n the second date wait, if you've known them or are comfortable with them, then that's fine.

A peck on the cheek for the first date.
By the 3rd date, a peck on the lips - yea, I'm old fashioned.
