Ok it’s usually sold with other sushi, all it looks to me is a brown wrapping, at the bottom you can see the white rice, and a couple of black sesame seeds. It’s really sweet. What is it called and what’s the brown wrapping around it (it’s from soy right?)?

It’s SO good I LOVE IT!

♡Yes, it's called 'inari zushi'. And I lOVE IT too!♡^_^♡ In Japan some people call it 'o-inari-san'. Cute name, right?
The brown wrapping around inari is called 'aburage'. It's fried tofu squares:

that have been cut in half or at an angle to form a pouch or pocket to hold the seasoned rice, simmered in dashi, mirin, sugar...:

Sometimes the sushi rice is simple like sesame seeds (goma) and other times other bits of veggies:*depending on the family recipe, or what's at hand...fill the pouches.

To result in delicious 'inari zushi'.

My mother in law uses black sesame, I use brown sometimes and veggies. It all depends on the cook's recipe!(*^o^*) Hope this helps! Actually I prefer to eat them instead of make them. I love all sushi!♡

Yes, it DOES sound like it might be inari-zushi!! But here in Japan I've never had inari-zushi with sesami in it. Anyway, inari-zushi is wrapped in a tofu pocket - made by frying a thin slice of tofu, then cutting it in half so that it makes 2 pockets and boiling them in seasoned water.

Actually, they're my favourite sushi!!

Here's a pic so you can tell;

And here's a recipe, if you want one!
