It's a Veggie.. the difference between fruits and veggies is that fruits have seeds in them. Corn doesn't have seeds.

Corn is a veggie! My favorite one at that!! Hot buttered corn on the cob is the best!

being that is is a seed, it is usually considered a grain. The word 'corn' in Europe used to be a catch-all for grain, whether it was barley or millet or wheat. Maize from the new world was our only reliable corn for so long that it came to be called that.

Corn when eaten with a corn cob, or when boil or grilled is a fibrous staple food. When it is mixed with vegetables, it is a fibrous vegie.

HA HA!!! Eskimo Joe is freakin hilarious... corn hunters. LOL. but seriously it's something else. it's a mineral. Why do you think you can get it out of the ground? duh. that is also why it's hard in the beginning and you have to add water kind of like dirt. get it?

well in a can or frozen its a vegi dried its a grain that thay grind up for flour and fule or leave it hole and feed it to cows thay can also grind it to make nuggets to burn
