The only way you can get it is through the mixing of bodily fluids(you need a lot of saliva, maybe 2-3 gallons) with yours and an infected human, or through sharing of needles. There is no air borne HIV strand as of yet. The only other way is if a crazy scientist somehow made you ingest the virus, which is really kind of going way out there.
