I live in Japan, and I eat both Japanese and Chinese food frequently! I love them both equally, but I must admit that I particularly like going back to England and having a meal from the local Chinese take-away!! Chinese food is adapted to whatever country they're cooking it in, so there are definite differences between the Chinese food in Japan and in the UK! (Japanese restaurants aren't common in the UK outside the big cities, so I don't HAVE any fond memories of stuffing my face with the English version of sushi or okonomi-yaki!!!)
; )

I'm Chinese and I like Japanese food way more than Chinese. Probably because I ate it everyday for the first 16 years of my life and can't stand the stuff much anymore.

It's a tie - Japanese because I love sushi, and Chinese because I love moo shoo chicken!

I prefer Japanese food, as it uses more seafood and small but filling portions. Chinese food tends to have more fat and sauces, but I wouldn't complain if I had either for lunch or dinner.

Japanese.

Then again, I've never really tasted authentic Chinese.
