my parents lied last year and told me that I might have aids!!!! Why would they lie about that?

Well first off because they are insane? There is certainly no logical reason to tell someone they are infected if they are not. Are your parents religious by chance? Yeah, thought so! Take Care, and if you choose to take part in sexual activities, make sure you protect yourself. Make sure a condom is used. If you were placed at risk, make sure that you get tested 3 months after your last potential exposure!Take care and stay safe!

I had a family member lie to me last year & tell me my Dad isn't my Dad.
Who knows the reason? Forgive & move on.

well if they told you that you might have aids then they had a reason to be afraid that you might...and keep in mind they did say Might...there probably keeping something from you, which would be the real reason they were worried.

I wish Ihad an answer that would ease your mind, but lying is bad enough let alone lying to your own child. but please think this through and get more advice before you judge your parents . remember this, we can forgive and then move on with our lives but we have the right to never forget. holding in your feelings will only cause you to become angry then depressed. take care of yourself lg justicejamie888

that seems very strange. Are u sure u just made that up. If ur telling the truth, then maybe it is an indirect way to voice thir concerns about their daughter's sleeping around maybe!!!

But I think that is a cruel way to get information out of you...
In order to understand as parents what is about you and your sexual life and/or drug habits...
I really believe that this is not fair and you must talk about this with them...
