Vegetarianism is the practice of not eating meat, including beef, poultry, fish, and their by-products, with or without the use of dairy products or eggs. The exclusion may also extend to products derived from animal carcasses, such as lard, tallow, gelatin, rennet and cochineal. Some who follow the diet also choose to refrain from wearing clothing that involves the death of animals, such as leather, silk, fur and many down feathers. While most vegetarians consume dairy products,
veganism is a stricter form which excludes dairy, eggs, honey, and any foods that contain these or other animal products

Eggs are vegan. Vegans don't consume anything from animal origin or anything with animal products in it. Vegetarians generally do eat eggs, just like they drink milk, but it really all depends on the principle of the vegetarian. eg, I am vegetarian, but I also don't drink milk or eat eggs either on principle, but it's not always like that for everyone.

Depends on whether they are fertilized on not? Battery eggs are not and are therefore considered by many to be vegi. Free range eggs are definitely not. One good way to tell is if you crack the egg and see a deep red or orange spot in the yolk. That means it is fertilized and therefore probably not vegi.
There are categories of vegitarian called Ovo vegetarians who will not eat anything with eggs in them but will have milk....hope it helps......

Most vegetarians eat eggs because it is not an animal that has been born therefore will not suffer when you crack it. They do not have a central nervous system and do not feel pain. Vegans are the ones that do not eat eggs.

baby chicks are killed at birth so that we can eat eggs. they egg industry produces an equal number of both female and male chickens and the males do not grow fast enough to produce meat and do not produce eggs. what tlctreecare is saying is a common misconception egg industry. vegatarians eat eggs because they a) do not know eggs kill baby chicks at birth or b) do not want to give them up even though they know it is wrong to eat them
