I don't know your sleeping habits, but... a bit of advice: try to sleep 8 hours a nigh. If you have cut down your sleep hours lately, try to dedicate a few days for sleep only(even 12 hours a night). Also, try not to sleep in the afternoon, I have found this to be quite addictive(if you sleep today, you'll be tired and have to sleep tomorrow at the same hour too).. If you're really tired though, try a big cup of coffee.

If you are that sleepy it sounds like you don't need to reduce your sleeping time but maybe increase it.

Sounds like you aren't getting quality sleep. Try buying a new mattress, do you sleep alone? If not then maybe you should try that for a while. You know what they say quality or quantity!
