I'm not sure about the rest of the world like Africa etc. but 1 in 4 people in the U.S. do not have AIDS. That statistic is that 1 in 4 people who have AIDS don't know that they have it.

it is very scary and what is even more scary to me is the governments do not segrigate the ones who are infected. most people say it is humane because ow would i like it if it were me who was infected. but if you think about it if the ppl who were infected with it were contained then all these people would not be contracting it to this day. of corse it is not going to stop it completley but it will slow it down dramatically. people should be tested at birth. when people go to the hospital for treatment they should be put into a cntained area for ppl infected with the disease. i am not saying everyone with the disease is out to infect others because it is simply not so but there are to many people out there that do just that and it is dangerous. the people who are not infected their rights are taken away to give rights to the people that could potentially infect them. considering not all tests are 100% accurate with all the lies people tell innocent people who are married and contract it that way rape you name it people who did not deserve it all these people i am sure wish that these people were contained.

first...its 'AIDS'... ummm, i recently did a voulenteer thing where i looked after being people dying of a HIV related illness..just cleanin their home and stuff....nice and rewarding...um, and ne way, in my training ( i live in syd), i was told in Australia, we have 25,000 people living with HIV and only 400 of them are women...scary thing is about 19,000 people that are infected live in sydney, and mainly in surry hills and inner city(mostly gay areas). As a homosexual my self, and from moving to city from the country, it worried me to see this amount of numbers of HIV in men still to this day, and people are being diagnosed about every day...
i mean, we all do stupid things, the amount of women i know who dont use protection, is huge, but if they end up pregnant, they can take a pill and 'rid' wat they have growing...or abort it.... while people with HIV live with a constant reminder...My friends ask my why i dont date many guys...lol ....its a terrible disease and i wouldnt wish it upon anyone, and i have empathy for those who have HIV and applaud their strength for continuing every day healthier than most of the people in the world and living long healthy lives....
