My bf has been getting weird white little spots on his lips. First, it was after we had sex and another time was after we have been kissing a lot. does this mean we have a STD? Why does this happen?? I am very worried and cannot ask anyone...help...

Although the symptoms you have mentioned sound familiar, I do not remember the exact name of the sexual transmitted disease that they are commonly associated with. I suggest that the both of you make appointments to see your doctors and refrain from having any sexual contact (including kissing) until you know what it is that you are dealing.

Im also thinking herpes simplex.
Herpes Simplex type 1 is on your mouth, but when exposed to genitals the virus will start living there as Herpes Simplex type 2.
Either type will cause the other, and herpes is permanent, there is no cure, only treatment, like valcyclovir.

He has oral thrush. In immunocompromised patients, the Candida infection can become systemic, causing a much more serious condition, fungemia. Symptoms are white spots on the mouth area.

it could be herpes simplex which is what causes cold sores. they are contagious but not considered to be an STD. go to a free clinic. they are anonymous and will not contact your parents. they will give you the information you need and FREE CONDOMS>
