no one really knows because not all of them get tested. thanks to the druggies and bi sexuals aids jumped more over to the hetero population. so how is there numbers to know for sure. think about it statistics show that 4 people contract the disease from just one. so when you multiply it from 1 to four, four to 12 and so on it is impossible to say

a lot less now than in the 1980 and 1990's...now it seems to be the straight population that is seroconverting more and more often in North America. In Africa I think it's mostly heterosexual transmission.
