ha!ha! really amusing,i ask these question because i have encountered one question that is against meat eater. i dont see anything wrong in killing animals as long as they kill for good reason such as for food and living, not when they kill for fun! that is a different issue.

i am not a meat lover myself, i love vegetatables most, these qestions are for those people who oppose in eating meat, and claim to protect animals or living things. i asked these question for i feel they are strange creatures, are vegetables not a living thing to be protected too? that is an important questions for those people.

so others have not seen the spinach or kangkong with the roots intact of it from the market? the garlic, or onion,it must be pull out from the ground groundpeanuts as well. the rice plants? so it is not wrong to eat meat or vegetables for every thing that can be consumed is for us human that God provide for us! nobody is perfect though.

who told u exactly tht these vegetables r living?? even if they do .. hve u ever noticed tht after they get ripe they shed from the plant.. it is bcoz those vegetables r no more use for tht particular plant. it means wht?? it means if we r eating vegetables we r not actually killing the whole plant. we r just taking tht part of plant which is no more use for plant. and moreover did u ever noticed tht a chick shedding his leg or arm for ur food???
well , veggies dont hate meat lovers as such but they hate tht how come people can eat animals (just for their taste sake..its like imagine tht someone eating u?? afterall human being is also an animal although so called very intelligent and advanced)
when god has already made so much for us in terms of vegetables and pulses etc..
and also bcoz if u c the livingness in human beings/animals versus plant..u will find tht although plant is living but not upto human being/ animal level
p.s i know the last part is definitely going out of ur head

hi
I dont understand why u r obssessed with the idea of killing plants. As far as I know plants dont die if u pluck a flower or a fruit. Plants can grow again by repairing their injured tissues but an animal cannot do that. So its actually wrong to kill an animal for food or any other purpose. When a human being is killed dont we make a huge fuss?? Only if a living creature cannot speak how can u take its life from it?? As for ur question of why vegetarians hate meat lovers--people who r vegetarians think that u should not harm a living thing i.e; take its life!! So they actually feel angry on such people who harm animals. They r not as illogical as the people u know that they will start hating meat lovers.

I'm vegetarian and I don't hate meat lovers. There are times, however, when meat lovers get very annoying. For instance, some meat lovers offer meat to a person s/he knows is vegetarian, or make jokes about massacring the carrot.
As to your statement that vegetables are living things, my answer would be consuming living things is a natural part of life, but there are differences between consuming something plant based and animal based. For instance, majority of animals have a complete neural system. Plants do not, which argues strongly in favour of their not having the ability to feel pain, emotions, etc. There are many other reasons as to why people choose to be vegetarian, but for brevity's sake, I'll stop here.

Nope. A carrot is not a living thing buddy. Take a biology class or something. Picking the fruit from a tree won't harm the tree. (But you do have somewhat of a point - since modern farms do actually violently shake trees with machines, and the trees do get damaged and die often, but the trees and plants still live better lives than the chickens at a KFC ranch). If your christian, we all have the right to eat meat, but you have to admit, most people eat way too much meat and too many animals are suffering at slaughter houses.

i am a meat lover myself but only eat it about 2x a month. as long as it's not filthy meat and the animal is killed ethically, i don't think it is wrong to eat it. it's funny because i've seen many hardcore vegetarians freak out on meateaters and then go and eat a lollipop or some kind of cake. if they are vegetarians for reasons of not using animal products, they should know that some normal white sugar is processed and de-nutritionalized with UNCLEAN (unnatural, nonorganic) animal byproducts.. now that's disgusting.
i think if a vegetarian is adamant on excluding animal products from their diet and food preperation, they should read up on what other foods they eat and start making better decisions like using natural sweetners, and drinking natural vegetarian beers.
let's face it, most young vegetarians are fad-vegetarians... they really don't see the whole picture.

You dont see anthing wrong with killing animals for food, right?
All you see is meat on a shelf and that's dinner.
The world would be a much better place if we didn't eat animals. We can live healthily without it.
I choose to be vegetarian, if you want to continue eating meat that is pumped full of antibiotics and growth hormones that's your choice.
I really dont care what you eat, I just want to look after my family.

Your premise is flawed; We vegetarians don't hate meat lovers. I'm a vegetarian and I don't hate anyone based upon their eating habits.
Except maybe people who eat mayonaise. Those people are sick.
And you know, not all vegetarians are vegetarian for the same reasons.
I simply don't like the taste. Frankly, I find it disgusting.
I personally have no problem with killing animals, I'm willing to help, just don't ask me to eat the stuff.

Vegetarians don't hate meat lovers, they just think that the meat lovers are killing themselves with fat. Most vegetarians are what they are for health reasons - though some do want to save the animals - or not get mad cow disease or something from them.

I agree. But even if they ate dirt or stones they would still be killing a living thing. See vegetarians aren't thinking that there is living things they are just too small to see! Even when vegetarians build houses or even sneeze they are killing SOMETHING!
