Yes, it is the only food I eat that isn't home cooked. Have been going to a particular restaurant for a long time and they look after us as in knowing we don't eat any animal products etc.
If you develop a rapport with the chef, Indian food is the healthiest food you can eat.
They are mostly vegetarians too.

If you get it made well, I'm sure it is good for you. The food has lots of vegitables and spices with antioxidants (a la green tea).

Indians in developed India also have a longer life span than Americans, in general.

So at least its better for you than the crap you can get at Micky D's

Certainly. The Indian food contain all the proteins, fats, etc., required for the development of the body and mind.
One suggestion to the answerer: Don't say derogatory remarks on others food, music, places, etc. You know ONE MANS FOOD IS ANOTHER MANS POISON.
If you say Indian food stinks, etc., I too can say your food also stinks.
If you do not know about others, please keep quiet.

No, my family's indian and i have never seen my mom cook anything without tons of oil in it but she does use chili powder and spices and tumeric ( Haldi ) so its breaks it down but i prefer to eat very little or none of it :)
and i think its ok if u like oily foods....and im a vegetarian so what not if she uses oil :P

Actually, it depend on what kind of food you eat. Even though some of the food they uses fruits and vegetable, but they uses alot of spice and is abit too oily for me.
