Contrary to what the previous answer states, alcohol does freeze; however, it freezes at a much lower temperature than water. Tequila (generally speaking) is 40% alcohol by volume. That's relatively high alcohol content. Something like a beer, on the other hand, has only about 5% alcohol by volume. As a result, a beer will freeze (and subsequently explode) in your freezer, but higher alcohol-content liquids won't.
So, if you were able to find a location that was about -175 F degrees, I believe the alcohol in your tequila would freeze. Good luck with that.

it's freezing point temperature is lower than the temperature of your freezer. All matter has a certain freezing, boiling, and melting point, and they all differ.
The freezing point for alcohol is probably in the
minus 100-200 degrees celcius range. I am not 100% sure of the exact temperature.

You can not freeze alcohol, but you can put into Jello and make Jello shots! Lime for tequilla is best.
