Meat eaters cant see past the fact that they like eating meat.
They don't care about animals suffering, they just don't want to know.
We do not have to eat meat, our bodies cant digest it anyway.
I don't know what it will take to get these ignorant people to think about what they are doing.
I am a vegetarian and agree with you. Stopping the torture and killing of animals wont happen when people feel it is ok as they 'like eating meat'. It is disgusting.

Well, it is hard to tell people to stop eating what they have eaten their whole life, and what they were taught was "food" when they were children.. Many people don't want to think about it at all. If people are really concerned about what they are doing to this planet, they will figure out that meat eating is near the top of the list of wasteful practices because it concentrates a lot of grain into an animal to gain a small amount of protein. A lot of people don't want to think about the ethics of a living being being killed to sustain their own existence. Until people begin to care about their impact on the planet, there is not much you can say to someone who doesn't want to hear.

What the hell are you saying first slow down read what you type and see if it makes sense before you post it. Animals taste good and you need meat to get certain propteins that you can not get from a strict vegetarian diet without taking supplements. When will you start crying about killing plants. Meat has been a natural part of thre human diet since the beginning. HEll even gorillas will eat meat occassionally. So don't bother us with your childishness and we won't bother you.

Somewhat paradoxically, animals get a good deal out of our eating meat.
If we didn't eat meat, farmers wouldn't keep them, and they'd all have to be slaughtered. All of them, they wouldn't even have a chance of life, and that'd be a species gone. By farming them they get easy lives, they aren't troubled by the problems they'd have in the wild and are healthier than they would be due to veterinary care, good nutrition etc. Yes, they get slaughtered when they get older, but they get a better deal than they would in the wild.
I eat meat, I know where it comes from but that's life, and I have no qualms about doing so.

Animals eat animals. We're animals. They taste good and life is good at the top of the food chain.
Besides, animals taste good. You're just oversensitive.
I'm going to eat an extra steak today to make up for the one you're not eating. I always eat extra meat when I dine with self-righteous vegetarians. Your self righteousness is going to cause an animal to die and find its way to my palate.

yes, factory farms are an atrocity. but we have a choice to buy from small and local farmers some who raise them on their original diet which is ideal, and the slaughtering process is more humane. we need to support farmers who are doing it right to make the giants obsolete. this supports community as well.
giving people a choice instead of all or nothing is a more effective approach.

People are people and you need to respect others for what they do. I am a vegetarian and i care about animals but everyone has a right to their belief. You can't make someone do something they don't want to do. You can encourage them, but noone likes to be pushed.

This is how I see it...if we didn't eat animals eventually they would be roaming around EVERYWHERE on the street in you homes etc. So when you driving your cars you would end up hitting and killling them anyways so why not save the trouble and eat them now

I am against cruel and unusual punishment towards animals. I am for hunting animals for food. Game and sport is not cool. It is no different then a killer whale killing baby seals for game. killing is not cruel and unusual punishment, or else that would not be a punishment.
