You can live up to hiv/aids for a very long time more than 20 years ...i read some where how a person was born with aids and she is 26 yaers old....so i do think you can live for a very long time

I depends on how healthy the person is and what kind of lifestyle they live. There are numerous medications that are out there that slow the process of HIV turning into full blown AIDS. It really depends on if the person is religious on taking the meds everyday and also if you have the money to get the meds. Look at Magic Johnson, he has had HIV for many years not AIDS.

I have no clue. My friend lived for ten twelve years before she actually died,but it wasn't directly related to the HIV. She got pneumonia,and then it progressively got worse. Her heart stopped,and then she was braindead. If it wasn't for the HIV,she might have recovered,but still...not ever a good thing

well u can live a normal long life upto 80 -90 years. depends if u ve the p24 gene in your body or not. i think its magic jordan who is hiv +ve but is still havin no problems, except that he is a carrier and cant ve sex

AIDS was first identified 25 years ago, and I personally know people who were diagnosed then who are still alive.
We can't really say beyond that, because we didn't know it existed before then.
