I think it CAN, though doctors have said it's not. They do say "bodily fluids" so DUH! that is body fluid. I sure won't.

HIV virus is found in all bodily secretions and fluds. Saliva can have the virus in it, but usually in lesser quantities than found in blood.
HIV has been found in saliva and tears in very low quantities from some AIDS patients. It is important to understand that finding a small amount of HIV in a body fluid does not necessarily mean that HIV can be transmitted by that body fluid. HIV has not been recovered from the sweat of HIV-infected persons. Contact with saliva, tears, or sweat has never been shown to result in transmission of HIV.
I would still be careful though, especially if there are open sores in the mouth

I've always been told no. But for some reason I thought I heard of a case a few years ago where they confirmed that aids was transfered by saliva. but I could be wrong.

It's not likely too, unless your partner has an open sore, scrape or something that would allow blood to get into his mouth; and don't if you have the same. Aids is a bloodborn virus that can also be excreted in semen and vaginal fluids. Sex can causes irritation of the vaginal wall increasing he chance of infection as can anal sex. Semen can also have the virus but it is not easily transferred unless it has a wat to enter the bloodstream.

Yes. It is transmitted through the exchange of any bodily fluids. Call your local health department for more information.

It's possible, but unless you're like darn near DRINKING each other's spit, it's statistically unlikely.
Here is some information on condoms, birth control, infection, safer sex, abstinence and other alternatives to intercourse, how to talk to your partner about sexual issues ... even a video on how to CORRECTLY apply a condom.

No. Not from saliva.
Blood from a cut in the mouth to a cut in the other person's mouth maybe.
