How long do condoms last if kept in my glovebox?

I have a few condoms I found in my glovebox from the clinic. they don't have an experation date on them. I would like to give them to my daughter now that she is turning 14. They cant be more than 3 yrs old, cuz my truck is only 3 yrs old.

um, doncha think 14 is a bit young to push her into having sex? giving her condoms, tells her that you are cool with the idea of having sex. Throw away those nasty things. Get your daughter a real gift. Have her mom take her to the clinic so she can get new, free condoms and talk openly to a trained doctor about where she is at sexually. They all have an expiration date and if kept in a glove box it greatly shortens their life because of the heat.

Don't be such a cheapskate...go buy her some fresh ones they aren't that expensive.....

I hope your nearly 14 yr old daughter has had some good teaching about sex so she doesn't end up with STD's or pregnant. Also if you know she is sexually active, let her bring her male friends home to her bedroom as it is much safer today than on some back road or some cheap sleazy motel.

Now for those who think I am weird for making such a statement, once kids are sexually active you ain't gonna stop them. If it was your kids would you want them out where they could be raped and killed and mutilated on some back road or in their bedroom safe with your blessing and safety.

If you are truely worried about your daughter becoming pregnant, you would get her some birth control, such as the "pill", and not some old nasty crusty condoms that have been bakeing in your glove box for 3+ years! Take that truck of yours and go to the drug store and purchase some new ones! Quit being so cheap on something so important, geeeeez!

Bubba, buy your daughter new condoms. The heat has weakened the latex which will make it more likely the condom will break. It doesn't matter how old they are. Now if you want to be a young grandfather, go ahead and give her those condoms.

i would definitely buy new ones for her to use, no point in taking the risk with the old ones. but why don't you make sure she knows how to use them first, like practice with a banana. you could use those old condoms for that. and i think it is very important for females to understand how the condoms go on, and how they should fit.
