Well I had an unfortunate experience with this same STI, and I didnt have sex again till after I had taken the full amount of meds from my doc, and had gone back and been tested again to make sure it was gone. It was only about a month for me. Thats what i would do. Make sure you take all your meds even if the symptoms go away!

Trichimonias is a STD. If treated with the proper antibiotic, it will be cured in approximately 7-10 days. You must make sure that your sexual partner is treated also. If they are not treated, you will only get the Trich back again. Were you also tested for other STD's? Many people with one STD will discover that they also have Chlamydia too. Make sure your MD tested you for other STD's. Your partner would need to be treated for this also. I hope this helps. Good luck to you!

Trichomoniasis is completely curable, if both partners are treated with tab metronidazole or tinidazole tabs.The response is noted by absence of symptoms, like itching and burning around the urogenital areas.

As long as you finished the course of treatment and didn't have sex with the infected person again you should be alright......Men are silent carriers ....all your sexual partners should have medical treatment....this is available for free at the health department in your area

i made sure i took all my meds and didn't have sex until i was done with my meds i think it took about 2 weeks make sure your partner gets treated too
