Pretty critical for someone that hasn't put out a petition or set up a website and advertise. People are moving. Not as quickly as you'd like but . . . slowly people are making strides. army lt. watada (from hawaii) is facing 6 counts totalling around 7 years of prison time if convicted. Some people need to stop talking about what can be done and do something. If you are so peeved about it, start an organization or join one. petition, advertise, do something rather than go on to yahoo! answers and complain about americans being "too fat and lazy to get rid of a cabinet obviously corrupt". To get the product you wish, do something. You made the first step in trying to inform but you didn't give a good supporting argument.

At one point, at least one of our founding fathers said that we should never let our gov't grow too large or it will become a thriving monster. Well, it looks like we have that monster on our hands. If you were to try toppling this monster, how would you go about it? It is the one super power remaining in the world and self preservation is a foregone conclusion.

And how exactly are we to topple it? I'm sure if enough people really wanted it toppled, we could do it, but I don't think people really think that the government is corrupt. And if they do, they will just change it by voting in 2008. Good ol democracy.

Section 4. The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.
Is this the section you are referring to? If so, please cite his crime. What treason has he committed? What bribe has he been convicted of accepting?
Please cite the section or article of the constitution that you believe is the basis for removing the president. In other words, put up or shut up.
The president, one way or another, will be removed in the next election. You had your chance to remove him last go 'round, but he was voted back in. Deal with it, grow up, and move on dot org already.

The biggest part of the problem is the people themselves (as you suggest) and their representatives in Congress, who like their jobs and want to keep the pork-barrel funds flowing to their districts. It's difficult to get people moving against their own pecuniary interests. But it's worth pointing out that they have options; you never know who may be paying attention.

It says nothing like that in the Constitution. Numerous writings of the forefathers, Jefferson in particular, make note of this however. One quote is (paraphrased from memory) "the fertile ground of democracy is fertilized with the blood of tyrants."

I think that you are confusing the Constitution with the Declaration of Independence.
