Excuse me, how old are you? Why should you even have to ask such a question? For all you know, this guy could be an axe murderer. Why would you want him to stay at your place? Meet for the first time in a very public place, ( restaurant, theater, library, etc ) get there ahead of time, don't tell him what you are wearing. Then if he shows up, looking like Godzilla, you just walk away, without exposing yourself to any further risk. Then go home and change all you e-mail addresses.

If that will be the first time he will visit you. Visiting you at your place or at a motel is not a very good place to start with, don't you think?
Unless you guys are up to something.
Why not try to a more public place like at the mall or park or something.

motel. dont' let him stay with you at all. i wouldn't even let him come over to your house. you may think you know him, but he could say anything to you. if he wants to visit you, then let him. meet him else were. i wouldnt' even give him your home number. he can still do a reverse look up for your address. i would rather be cautious and safe then to take a chance and risk your safety and personal belongings till enough time has passed. if he's any kind of real friend and person he will understand your cautiousness

my god lady do not go to a motel.... talk about sending out the wrong vibes. if you meet him at a hotel that tells the guy that you want to have sex. go to a public place like a restaurant or park or something like that.

Never meet the guy alone for the first time. Ask where he is staying. If he thought he was staying with you .. tell him that is not possible ..no explanation needed. If he is a decent guy he will know where you are coming from.
Stay safe ..always think of your safety first.

if you have never met before then it should be a public place, mall, park, restaurant. what if is a killer, you want to invite him to stay in your house so he can kill you easier! what if you meet and he's different than his picture, then your mad at that and then he has to be at your house until he's gone, and all the while you guys arn't clicking. have him stay somewhere else, just not with you.
