Many times questions like this are raised, we automatically assume that to hate something is wrong. Yet, a hate of some things is understandable and justifiable. Should we not hate child molestation? Should we not hate injustice? I believe we should hate these acts and more. However, the problem comes in when we hate what is sacred, not the perversion of what is sacred. In addition, it is a problem when we hate an individual rather than the acts that individual performs.
In short, there is a reason to hate, to hate what is wrong and injust. The next question is, why do we direct our hate on individuals, rather than their acts.
Another question, though, must also be raised. Have we become a society that is so sensitive that hatred toward the actions of an individual is equated with hatred of the individual themselves? We say the religious are guilty of "hate crimes" because they speak out against homosexuality...an act they believe to be wrong. Yet we would never charge ourselves with "hate crimes" when we stand against those acts our own children perform that we "hate" or despise (e.g. lying, breaking curfew, disobeying, etc.)
If you dissect this further, its hard to miss the fact that you end up really asking the question, "What is right and what is wrong?"

Hate is an emotion of intense revulsion, distaste, enmity, or antipathy for a person, thing, or phenomenon. It is generally attributed to cause a desire to avoid, restrict, remove, or destroy the hated object. Hate is often described as the opposite of love or friendship. So, we must prove "hate" in order to know "love".
People may feel conflicting and complicated emotions or thoughts involving hate, such as love-hate relationship.

ths is a very good instrument to seggregate your choices.... if you love everything, you won't have any standing in life because you will tend to be ok with everythnig... in order to be an individual, you need to have specific point of view and some principles/rules and passion which lead you to love or hate somthing/someone... we hate things so that we can love other things with conviction... stronger the hatered, stronger would be the love for other things... it is a basic emotion... like anger, love, pleasure, happiness.... hate is not a bad thing...

That's tricky...
Hate is a strong emotion and we tend to disavow it quickly, but all of us, and that means ALL of us are capable of hate under the right circumstances.
Think of it this way: you are a hunter with your ancestors and when you're out hunting one day, one of them gets eaten by a tiger. You hate tigers because the next time you're out hunting and you come across a tiger, if you take time out thinking about where the tiger's coming from, his point of view, how he feels etc. etc. you'll probably wind up dead yourself. Feelings of hate, biologically speaking, are there to protect us.
The trouble is hate in the modern world is often wrongly applied. It's no accident hate is connected to fear and ignorance. We apply hate to people, races, countries because we are afraid of them and our hate makes us feel safer. Is it right. In many cases, no. But I think we are a slave to our biology more than we think we are.

Misinform people think that hate is wrong. Well, I disagree. There are plenty of reasons to hate. What about that bast&*(d raping a six-year old? What about hating the things of the devil?

Better to find ways to correct the situation, we have laws and law enforcement to deal with criminals
If a person wrongs us unfairly in personal dealings, and doesn't apologize or make amends, then avoid that person as he lacks character and morals.
Don't carry hate in your mind or heart because it's a corrosive emotion that damages your own self.
It's better to forgive and let go of it and get on to loving those who are decent

there isn't. there never was. that is just people who choose to hate. people who don't like a person or situation can choose to to deal with it, talk to someone, talk to the person. hate is not a need, its a choice. now don't go bringing up all these other scenarios, what if this......or what about that....i dont' dictate my feelings on things that haven't happen. so no what if's. and people who create violent acts or crimes, i pray for them and the people they hurt. i pray for unity and peace for the nations as a whole.
