aside from the obvious-Christ-i would have to say Paul-what a story of redemption-to go from being one of the chief persecutors of Christ's followers to becoming a voice and heart to help build and spread the early church, and endure, with a glad heart, all the sufferings he went thru...it amazes me-

I would have to say David. Not only is his lineage royalty (his father was Jesse, (bore from the lineage of Ruth and Boaz and later down the line Jesus Christ was born), but the fact that he was a terrible person and changed his life. He became special in the eyes of God because he repented of his sins, wrote the beautiful Psalms and became very close to God. Which shows God is a very forgiving and merciful God when David repented of his evil doings.

John the Apostle. I did a character study on him a few years ago and found that we were a lot a like, personality-wise. He was the disciple closest to understanding Christ's heart, which you can tell through his writings.

Mine is Elijah. The way he taunted the prophets of Baal on MT Carmel was hilarious. (read I Kings, chapter 18 for the whole story).

actually i have many favorite characters in the bible..but i'm struck with JABEZ...know him? i've read a book ..."Prayer of Jabez"..it's a very good book which focuses on the prayer of Jabez...you can see that prayer in 1Chronicles 4:9-10....those verses are the most different of all coz it defines who Jabez is and what he prays to the Lord...but with that small message..it will definitely change the way you pray...his prayer is a very strong one and that you could see his deep faith in God..that whatever you pray..it will be granted by God's grace...

It's definately Jesus - no sin, and he took it all for us? He paid my debt - when all the time, when he was here on earth - he didn't do anything wrong - he had no debt!

Amazing!

David is quite cool too? He really understood righteousness!

Definitely Satan. Only he had the balls to defy God and argue Him. Of course, it's not nice that he's evil.
