Take the dog to the vet -- could be cancerous (or maybe just a cyst).

It's a tumor of some kind, mostly likely, just a fatty tumor and harmless. But you will need to have it removed by a vet, and they will most likely biopsy it to make sure that is all that it is. I had a dog that had something similar, and when it was removed, they really just found an small infection mass, probably a bite of some kind that didn't just heal on it's own. But this is something you want your vet to see and treat.

It is possible that the bump is a benign fatty deposit that are not unusual in older dogs . It also may be a cancerous growth.
Dogs need to see the vet on a yearly basis, barring any emergencies, to keep their vaccines up to date, check for heartworm, and to help keep you alert to changes that are occuring due to aging.
Why worry for two years? Your vet could answer all your questions.

I'd suggest taking your dog to the vet. I can empathise, my cat had the same problem, one lump that became larger. In my cat's case, it was poisonned by fertilizers in my garden, and is still alive, although they said it would die after a year.
The best advice will come from a vet, no one can make a diagnosis unless they have the knowledge and can see the animal.

moony, you didn't specify what size your poodle is, and sometimes that is a determining factor. the "bump" is very slow in growth, so i'm willing to bet that you have a sebaceous cyst. the only way to be sure is a trip to your vet for a biopsy. but having breed poodles for 15 years now, i know that they are prone to these cysts, and they are harmless. good luck with your baby. i can tell how much you love her.

Take your dog to visit the vet ;
Your dog may have a benign tumour ( quite harmless and common)
Only your vet , will be able to discover
whether this tumour needs surgery or can stay as it is
get your vets opinion asap,
:)

Hi. I recently went through this with my lab, We took her in to the vet and it was cancer..They removed it and its a type that has a rare chance of coming back...It was breast cancer that she shouldnt have had because I had her fixed before her first heat which lowers the risk to under 1%..If yours is growing that slow it could be very treatable..The sooner the bettewr...It cost us under $200..Good Luck!

Older dogs can become more prone to malignant/benign tumors, so I would suggest that you check this out with your local veterinarian to see if this is a potential problem or not.
It could be serious, or nothing at all, but without a veterinary check-up you can't be 100% sure.

it many be just a fatty tissue that grow. If she had it 2 years and it has grown that fast then I should be ok. If you think in growing all the time it maybe time to take her to the vet.
