You're only reponsible for how you respond to what you feel you're supposed to do with it. If you feel like you're supposed to be extra generous with your giving and live a sacrificial life then do it. You'll never be happy until you do.

What you have is such a random event in many ways. You were accidentally born outside of poverty; others were accidentally born within it. Having materials good doesn't make you immune from suffering. I have a daughter that just OD'd on cocaine and she left us to care for her 2 year old. What good does my computer do now? I lay awake answering these questions.

No, God made rich and poor....We are blessed because of what America has always stood for.
God meant for us to have abundant life, man has messed that up.
I HATE HATE HATE it that others suffer and I try to do my share to ease them, but I am too thankful to be guilty.
God is longsuffering toward me and mine, so therefore,
I am NOT thankful enough, mind you...
There is no reason the World should go to bed hungry at night. It is leaders fault! when their people are not helped and given necessities of life.
I am ashamed for leaders that STEAL the food we send and other items. Proud of some of the Rich who do share. But, America does her part, over and aboard for other nations.
We just need to keep them (unfortunate ones)before the face of God at all times, and love them, that is the best thing we can do for them. and...give, give, give...

I've worked for everything I own.
Guilty?
Hell no!
Do I buy every little thing out there being sold?
Hell no!
I work for my money, and I spend it as I please.
If I want to pay someone way through school, I will.
If I want to give someone an expensive gift, I will.
If I want to pick up the tab, I will.
If I want to spend it all on me, I will.

You need not feel guilty if all those material things you have are earned from your own sweat and blood.

Wealth is just what you feel inside and if material possesions make you feel fulfilled then so be it but people should be confident in their wealth yet not arrogant (because that might be how they lose it later on).

I'm not.
Even if i was, why should i feel guilty, if i had genuinely made the money and worked for it there is no reason for me to feel guilty.

Jesus said feed the poor. How can you feed the poor if you are also poor? We must use our wealth for good.
