I've been on this diet for 2 months now, and i have slowed down to a halt with my weight loss. I'm having 2 shakes per day and a proper meal at night. No cheating, no large portions. Is this just the usual gimmicky diet that only works at the begining like anything else? I have lost 1 stone (14 lb) most of that was lost in the 1st week. Has anyone else experienced this same thing? Has anyone been on it for a long time and really succeded? I read all the testimonies before the diet and they raved on about losing 35-50lb in 2 month etc. The diet consists of protien powder and shake powder combined with fruit juice or soy milk twice a day, protien snack bars which i take at night (1) and a proper meal. This has redused my diet intake a lot, i no longer have juice, sweets, cake, biscuits, crisps, puddings etc so why is my weight loss stopped. I did try having a few extra things to try and kick start it back, but it's not worked. I did speak to someone but i just get excuses from them. Help

I am a Herbalife distributer. Get you coach to check that you are still on the right meal plane for you, this can change as you lose weight. The diet does work and will work for you. I too have hit a palteau, and I know how disappointing it can be. If you want some advice from me, contact me via e-mail and I will try to help

I have not used the herbalife program but I did use a different one.
It severely restricted my diet but I lost 69 pounds and I kept it off for a year. Then it just wasn't feasible/desireable to keep it up so I got off it. I gained about half of it back over the next 3 years, I plateaued (is that a word?) there but since I'm getting married soon, I started a diet again about a week ago. It took about 3 to 4 days for the cravings for the junk food to go away...although I'm still dying for some wine or a pint of beer.
The biggest thing that I noticed that helped me was water. I was drinking about 3 litres a day back then and I'm starting to up my intake of it again now.
Good luck, I know the struggle that you are going through.

You may have hit a plateau in your weight loss. It is just a time where your body goes "Whoa - where is all the weight going - I better adjust to my new size and this new diet I am getting." You will probably break through it in a week or two once your body adjusts. You might need to up the activity level a bit to get your metabolism in gear. My mom says that whenever she hits a plateau she just ups her water and that helps get things going. Would not hurt to try. Everyone experiences weight loss differently. On the bright side the slower it comes off the easier it is to keep it off. If you are satisfied with the diet, I say stick with it. Good luck and congrats on your weight loss so far.

I did the diet as well. Ilot 95 lbs in 8 months, have kept it off for over 4 years now. It does work! Gt with your coach, and have them re-evalute your plan. Something must have changed along the line. Maybe add some extra protein powder to your shakes

I do herbalife I have lost 2 stone. You have lost a lot of weight very quickly if you continue to lose at that rate you will be losing muscle not fat. You need muscle because this burns more calories so you need it to help burn the fat if you see what I mean. You will need to exercise to help move you over this flat spot. Also measure your body size you may find the inches are going even if the scales are not moving You want a good healthy body shape .
