I had a cold a while ago and yeah I had teary eyes. I am not a doctor (don't let the latex gloves fool you) but I imagine its something to do with a reverse affect like when you cry your nose runs well when your nose runs your eyes water.

When I have a cold I always suffer from teary eyes, especially if my sinuses are blocked up.

Maybe you have allergies. Tis the season. You could try and over the counter allergy medication you can also get eye drops too - ask the pharmacist.

Yes you can have watery eyes from a cold. Also if you have a fever, thats when I get em.
