we cannot know for sure but if we look at the historical facts it could not be true (not the bible that we have today as this version of the bible has been edited by the former leaders of the church to answer to the society's needs or for some, to be able to control the society more)
Accdg to the historical documents, Mary Magdalene was neither a prostitute nor a Wife to Jesus. She is merely a disciple who accdg to some docus, was more favored by Jesus. She was relegated to the "just another follower" role by Peter through jealousy and then one of the popes made her play the prostitute role for the purpose of making penance appealing to people,
some may argue with the "hints" in the archaic docus of Jesus and Mary being partners but it could always be explained in the spiritual level
It is a pity that we need to make something out of it other than the idea that Jesus is a believer of equality in every way.
Of course the spculations above maybe based on some old literature but we can never know for sure.

I think it is possible, but not necessarily true, and especially not to the extremes that Dan Brown took it. It was considered the duty of a Jewish father to find a wife for his son in those days, and Jesus and James would probably have followed in that tradition, especially since his ministry didn't begin until he was 30. I personally don't understand why people find this so threatening an idea. Jesus was both man and God, so why should He not follow the traditional practices of men? Aren't we supposed to pay more attention to His teachings? But as to the daughter of Jesus coming into Europe and marrying into a royal family of Europe, I think that's piling supposition on supposition.

because Jesus was somehow a human. They said that nobody's perfect. So he was capable of what has been said in the Da Vinci code. So what if it's true? He saved us after all.
And besides, nobody is perfect! But GOD!

It is a fiction movie. Don't go believing something like that to be true. That movie was designed to make money not to tell the truth.

though some of the gnostic gospels have just as much credibility as the books in the Bible it self, Jesus definately didn't have any descendants. if you you actually believe that He did, and you follow the genealogical charts, people such as Prince Charles, the Grand Duchess Anastasia, and even me would be among his descendants. i may not know what they have to say about this, but i sure know that my blood isn't divine!

anything can be true espescially if the person wants it to be. the story is a good one but a story it is...if it gets people thinking than the author did a pretty good job.

I believe whatever is in the bible. All too often people start looking for other explanations of things. When they aren't even clear on what the BIBLE even says.
